How to Care for Posters & Prevent Fading

A good print should look as fresh in five years as it does today. Three things threaten it: light, moisture and bad storage. All are easy to manage.

Sun is the enemy of colour

• Avoid hanging directly opposite a window in harsh, all-day sun.
• Frame important prints under UV-protective glass or acrylic to slow fading.
• Our prints use quality inks and stock, but no ink is immune to constant direct sun.

Keep it flat and dry

• Let a newly delivered print relax flat for a day before framing if it arrived rolled.
• Avoid humid rooms for unframed posters — moisture causes curling and cockling.
• Handle by the edges; oils from fingers can mark the surface over time.
