Terms of Sale
Last updated: 19 July 2026
These Terms of Sale govern your purchase of products from Lumora Home (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order you agree to these terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Image Rights & User-Provided Content policy, which form part of these terms. Please read them before ordering.
1.About us & these terms
Lumora Home is an Australian business that (a) sells its own curated products (ready-made posters, wall art, lighting, homewares and similar goods) as the seller, and (b) provides a made-to-order printing service for custom designs created in our studio or supplied by users. These terms apply to both.
2.Orders & acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm and accept your order (for example, by confirming payment or dispatch). We may decline or cancel an order — including where an item is unavailable, there is a pricing or description error, we suspect fraud, or we cannot lawfully fulfil it — and if you have paid, we will refund you.
3.Products, descriptions & variations
We take care to describe and photograph products accurately, but colours, textures, sizes and finishes are indicative only and may vary due to your screen settings, materials, framing and the nature of print production. Slight variation is normal and is not a defect. Where a product is sold as a set, the price is for the complete set as described.
4.Prices & GST
Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and, where applicable, include GST. Delivery and any separately arranged services are charged as shown at checkout or quoted. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders we have already accepted. If a price is obviously wrong, we may cancel the affected order under clause 2.
5.Payment
You must pay in full using an accepted method (currently PayID / bank transfer, with other methods added over time). For made-to-order items we generally begin production and ship once payment is received and reconciled. Any discount or coupon is subject to its own conditions and may be withdrawn at any time.
6.Made-to-order & custom items
Custom and user-designed items are produced specifically for you, to the specifications you select. They are not held in stock, so production and dispatch take additional time. Because they are made to order, they cannot be cancelled or returned for change of mind once production has begun (this does not affect your rights for faulty or misdescribed items — see clause 9). You are responsible for the artwork and choices you supply; user-provided content is governed by our Image Rights policy, including the warranties, licence and indemnity in it.
7.Delivery, risk & title
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery (or on collection, for pickup). Title passes once we have received payment in full and delivered the products. Where you choose pickup or local drop-off, additional terms shown at checkout apply.
8.Cancellations & changes
You may ask to cancel or change an order before it is dispatched, and — for made-to-order items — before production begins; we will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests. Once an item has been produced or dispatched, clause 9 (returns) applies.
9.Returns, refunds & the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For a major failure you are entitled to a replacement or refund, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure is not major, you are entitled to have the problem fixed within a reasonable time, and if that is not done, to a refund.
Beyond your legal rights, as a courtesy we accept change-of-mind returns of unused, ready-made (in-stock) items within 30 days for a refund of the item price. Made-to-order and custom items cannot be returned for change of mind, because they are produced specifically for you — but your rights for faulty, damaged or misdescribed items are unaffected.
If an item arrives faulty or damaged, contact us at hello@lumorahome.com.au promptly with your order details and photos, and we will make it right.
10.User-provided content & intellectual property
Where you supply artwork or a design, you keep ownership of it, grant us a licence to reproduce and print it, and confirm you hold all necessary rights — as set out in full in our Image Rights & User-Provided Content policy. Our own brand, site, content and curated product imagery remain our intellectual property.
11.Acceptable use
You must use our website and services lawfully, must not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to them, and must not submit content that breaches our content standards. We may suspend access or orders for breach of these terms.
12.Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law our liability to you is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the relevant products or services or paying the cost of doing so, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
13.Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State and the Commonwealth of Australia.
15.Changes & contact
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be on this page with the “last updated” date above. Changes do not affect orders we have already accepted. Questions? Email hello@lumorahome.com.au.
