Off the Shelf

Everything on this shelf already exists. The artwork is chosen, the size is set, the finish is decided, and the stock is here — so the only thing between ordering and hanging it is the post.

That is the whole appeal, and it is worth being clear about what you trade for it. A ready-made piece is not adjustable: the size on the page is the size you get, and the finish on the page is the finish you get. If the proportion is not right for your wall, the made-to-order shelf is the one to look at instead, because there the ladder is open.

What "in stock" means here

A count exists behind every piece on this shelf, and the page will tell you when something is genuinely unavailable rather than quietly letting you order it. Where a piece is on its way to us rather than sitting here, it says so — that is a different state from "in stock" and a different state from "sold out", and it is labelled as its own thing so you are never guessing which one you are looking at.

Sets

Several pieces here are sets rather than singles, and the set is the unit — the pieces are chosen to sit together at the same size, so the spacing is the only decision left. That makes a set the easier option for a wall you have not measured carefully, because a few centimetres of drift between frames is invisible in a way that a single mis-sized print is not.

Finishes

Unframed prints ship rolled or flat depending on size and travel cheaply. Framed pieces arrive ready to hang. The frame changes three things at once: the footprint on the wall, the formality of the piece, and the cost of getting it to you — a frame is bulky rather than heavy, and carriers charge on carton size, which is why a large framed piece costs more to send than its weight suggests.

Getting it to you

Unframed work sits in the flat national parcel band: the same postage to any Australian address. Framed and oversized work is quoted by destination. Anything too large for Australia Post at all is pickup or local delivery only, and the page says so rather than taking the order and sorting it out afterwards. Greater Sydney can collect free from North Kellyville or have us hand-deliver it.
